I will be keeping Sai as a ghost in Camp and he will not be visible to everyone. But for the sake of more threading opportunities and in following with Camp's multiple canons and their differing ways of handling ghosts, there will be exceptions.

SO if your character hits one of the following, feel free to notice Sai!

• another ghost or spirit
  
• some other kind of supernatural entity (demon, god, dullahan, etc.)
  
• spiritually sensitive
  
• easily possessed
  
• psychic

And note that this is ALL flexible. Have a telepath that has no magical/spiritual ability? Maybe you'll just hear his voice. Have an empath or aura-reader that never meets bodily spirits in their own canon? Maybe you'll just pick up on feelings! Maybe your character hits everything on the list but you don't want to see Sai at all? THAT IS FINE TOO.

The only rule I am sticking to is that if your character has no relevant ability at all then, sorry, but you cannot see/hear Sai. If the normal humans in his series don't see him, then you won't either. WE CAN STILL THREAD THOUGH it is IC for him to talk at people whether they hear him or not.

For reference, Please comment with whether or not your character would be aware of Sai.

Elliot: I DON'T KNOW. Canonically gets possessed but honestly I vote we go with whichever is funniest for any given thread.

Hope: he'd be aware that SOMETHING was there and could hear Sai talk but I don't think he'd see Sai clearly.

Julian: again, this is one that depends on the thread, and whatever is funniest. Then again, Julian would just spend his time insulting Sai's hat, for which I apologise in advance.

Ronan: is from an area of the world where ghosts chill out all the time and all Irish wizards canonically keep their second sight on just in case of weird shit happening. He'd be very blase about it all.

Genis canonically can see ghosts (and...doesn't realize they're ghosts, so you get a sidequest where he's talking to/chasing a little kid ghost and the rest of the party is like WTF).

Shaz, Mirka and Eles probably can't? TB is very fakescience instead of supernatural, and despite Eles' penchant for getting into trouble she's a normal kid.

Chibi is a puppygod, although he's young enough that we can play fast and loose. There is a canonical ghost that...I THINK he couldn't see without a partner's help but he could hear/sense? I am fuzzy on the details and am cool with whatever.

Fenris is an elf, and he's laced with magical ore that gives him special abilities, like the ability to phase his body into intangibility, which is fanonly (I think) attributed to him sending part of himself to the Fade, the spiritual world. This ability is, btw, called 'Lyrium Ghost' or, when upgraded, 'Lyrium Specter'! He also has the ability to feel when the Veil is thin (the wall between the physical and spiritual realms), and sometimes to identify possessed people by sight (canon goes back and forth on this one; sometimes he can, sometimes he can't). So. idk. There aren't really ghosts in canon, or I could probably give you a more concrete answer of this. XD YOU PICK. It could go any way, really.

Thor is a god and is pretty good at spotting spirits, astral projections, and the like. He'd be able to see and hear Sai.

Ricochet's mutant powers include the ability to detect impending danger--which in Camp usually means he has a general idea when something strange is going on. He probably couldn't see or hear Sai, but he might notice that something vaguely weird is up when he's around.

Red Arrow is pure vanilla human. See no ghostie, hear no ghostie.

Tiffany can because she's a witch and canonically sees ghosts. A strong projection by a ghost is likely to be heard as well.

Cindy is a Fable or a magical alien but she is not magic user. Ghosts exist in her canon and have been known to scare people by becoming visible, so she might be able to see/hear something if the ghost was trying hard.

Guy can't see or hear anything because he's human and normal.

what exactly do you mean by a "strong projection"? do you mean that she can see them, but she can't hear them unless the ghost is trying?

Accelerator is psychic. His ability is a specialized form of telekinesis that these days, is usually not active. That part is mostly not relevant. He is, however, capable at all times of sensing magic nearby - like magical artifacts or active spells etc. And he is also a "science angel" in that he's completely human but thanks to scientific experimentation has some divine properties written into his soul and is capable of a higher angel form. I'd say that he could only sense Sai beyond a general " . . . what is that?" in these cases: if Sai would count as a magical entity/has anything generating magical energy on him, if Sai were to attempt to touch him while his ability is active, or when Accelerator is in angel form which is unlikely to happen without serious triggers. So this is a no with exceptions, I'm gonna guess. I am easy.

Nana also has telekinesis and probably cannot be aware of him.

Squid Girl is just a squid despite all appearances to the contrary. There was one episode where a bunch of ghosts helped her find her way back to the Aizawa's when she got lost, but a) she didn't realize they were ghosts and b) earlier in that episode she claimed that ghosts weren't real and were unscientific. Prooooobably not unless you want her to see him for shits and giggles anyway? I can roll either way on this.

Maka can perceive souls, so she'd probably at least be able to sense Sai is around? In Soul Eater canon any ghost that ever showed up was visible to everyone, so they could be seen, but Sai isn't... so I'm not sure where to put this.

I personally think it would be hilarious if she just saw him as a soul bobbing around like an overexcited pomeranian, BUT if you want to see/hear Sai normally I do think she is eligible! Soul perception is definitely more sensitive than the normal human, and if everyone can see ghosts in her world it makes sense to me for her to keep on seeing ghosts.

Takeru: Probably can hear him, but can't see him? He can sense the presence of Ayakashi no matter how faint it is, even when the Ayakashi is purposely trying to hide its presence via a spell.

Elena: Is a supernatural doppleganger, but probably can't see anything.

Jan: Again, this red ranger can probably hear him, but can't see him. His senses are remarkably astute; he can sense Ki no matter how far away it is due to growing up in the woods as Tarzan & having animal-like instincts.

Jubilee: is a mutant but can't see him probably.

Hina: is normal, won't see him.

Hiro: Is a clone, but still won't see him.

Ace: Won't see him.

Rebekah is a vampire, which is supernatural, and... while ghosts are brought up and stuff in canon, it's a rather grey area and they normally can't see or talk to them but they can sense them at times. This might fall under the flexible category idk I rather let my canonmates decide.

Ben can probably sense/see Sai, but only when he's taken the forms of certain aliens.

Toshiko, Sofia, Lacey, Rachel, Anna, and Kara are gonna fall under no.

Marvelous stepped on a ghost in the movie? And ... fought on what is more or less the space Flying Dutchman against a shit ton of ghosts. And he could see the ghost of one dude when Gai could not sssso. Magic alien ghost seeing powers activate I GUESS.

J'onn would be able to hear and sense him! Probably. Super extra Martian telepathic powers.
